I auditioned the monitor 7 and I now own M80's. There is no comparison.

We had a lot of fun on those speaker audition trips. Maybe you should try to find a better deal than Axiom so we can go out and listen to more...

Comparing a six-driver system($1100 mail-order) to a three-driver system($668-retail) isn't a very good comparison. Second I will be adding a sub-woofer to the system to fill in the base. Third please explain how they are better, off axis uniformity, flat frequency response, speakers disappear, easier load on an amplifier. Better base isn't going to count.
How do the M80 speakers compare to the Monitor 9, Monitor 11, or Studio 100 speakers from Paradigm?
How do QS8 compare to the ADP-370 or CADP-470?
How does the VP150 compare to the CC-370, CC-470, or CC-570?
