Just get some 12 or 14 gauge wire from Home Depot, Parts Express, Radio Shack, etc. There are a number of threads 'round here about speaker wire that have huge raging arguments therein. Have fun perusing them!

Yea! Any standard 12 - 16 gauge cable should be sufficient (and not too pricey either).

Rich, study this often-cited article and table for info on the suggested wire gauge. As you'll see, standard lamp cord 16ga or heavier should be fine for your use.
