It had to happen, all this talk of BigWyres, Deaf Monks and Volcanoes got my mind stirring. In this post Visiting my Home Theater Micah the hijacks finally drove me over the top and I created "Tales from Atop the Volcano." I thought part two better belonged in the watercooler.

So assuming anybody but my own self actually finds this amusing, here's a repeat of Part 1 in order to introduce Part II.

With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

Agreed. I started to make one, but didn't have the patience for it.

Ok, I probably just think I couldn't come close to the humor level you've attained. \:\)

Where are the PC Police! Monks are not on the list of groups people are allowed to hate on and ridicule.

The "Deaf Monk" is turning a "Blind Eye".

the part where the woman leaves is an exaggeration, but you have to admit some of our regulars do fall all over themselves to help out a lady. \:\)

CV, that was a good one. I like the choice of "skull" at the end.

That turtle is a major skullf***er.

In case you missed it in the Hometheater, Goodbye from BigWyres thread, here is...

The 'not so funny' but Exiting conclusion to "Tales from Atop the Volcano."

It's not the comic, Murph.

Not to be the bot police or anything, but it's the word "exited" versus the word "excited" or exiting/exciting.

So close, yet so far... ;\) \:D

ACK!
I'd like to say it was a purposeful pun on the fact that BigWyres announced in another thread that he was leaving 'exiting' the forum. However, I will admit that "Exciting" is one of two words that I have been conscious of misspelling since elementary school but just can't seem to overcome it. That and an even more simple word. Embarrassingly enough, I also have a habit of going dyslexic with the word "their". At least the spell checker catches that one for me.

To think, I was just concerned that I was forgoing a bunch of other funny ideas I had in order to bring it to a conclusion in order to match the current events.
