Crossover Settings

Hi there,
I recently (like today) finished setting up my HT. For audio, I have the Onkyo 600 connected to M22Ti (front), QS4 (surround), VP150 (center) and EP175 (sub).
There is a crossover dial on the back of the EP175, and the Onkyo 600 has crossover setting at 80 / 100 / 120. I am assuming that the receiver setting and the sub dial settings must match, right? Is it better to select the highest crossover the reciever supports?
Also, another unrelated question is since the onkyo supports 6.1, which rear center speaker should I get? can I buy one QS4 instead of a pair?
thanks,
- Asim

You should always have the crossover on the sub to the fullest to avoid having crossovers interfering with each other.
For 6.1, give a thought at buying a VP100 for the center rear channel. I hear it's better than a QS for the center rear.

Thanks Ravi,
I got it regarding the crossover setting. However, as for using VP100 as the center rear channel, my only concern is that I will have to wall mount it. Do you know how easy or hard that will be? I imagine it does not come with mounting hardware ?

Yes, it is harder to wall mount. A center channel is best if it will be behind you something closer to ear level rather than wall mounted. In that case, you might be better off with a single QS.
