Yeah, those gunshots have quite a kick to them. Very nice.

Open Range is full of great sound. Plus, it is a very good movie. Don't cheat yourself. Watch it fromt the beginning. The thunderstorm in the opening scenes is terrific.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon

The audio's as fun as you'd expect. The story's also as broken as you'd expect. It's too bad these recent Transformers movies couldn't have writing to do the special effects justice.

Oh, you will. There's plenty to enjoy in the picture and sound.

Limitless

Entertaining enough. More could have been done with the idea. I was anticipating too any of the little details, but I wouldn't say I was bored or anything. The audio was fun, too. Maybe I'm just really enjoying my system today.

Watched Transformers 3 on the weekend with my oldest son and it is a great demo disc, lots of surround effects and LFE.

I had a good chuckle when Sentinel Prime talks about .."the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few..", of course my son didn't get it and just gave me a strange look.

Season finale of Breaking Bad was great. I really have to keep giving props to the sound and picture. It's nice to see a show that's done so well in the writing AND in the technical details. I wasn't sure if I'd keep watching when I first started, but I do have to say it's rewarding to keep watching. It's impressive where they've taken the story, the characters.

And now I have the last episode of season 4 of The Wire to watch. I'm glad I'm finally making the time to re-watch this series. Another great show, well worth the time investment.
