I have heard the Atom but not the M2; but I imagine that the M2 can more than hold it's own. I have to say that at this price point it is really amazing what good sound can be produced from such small drivers in a small enclosure.

It must be quite satisfying to produce such excellent sound for such little money. I'll finish my ramble by saying that I always expect expensive speakers to perform well (not always the case) but to me; the test of a real designer is what he/she can do at the bottom end of their range.
