I need help.. Building a new house and planning a home theater system. I got my eyes on the Pioneer Elite VSX 53TX Receiver, but need help matching up the speakers and stuff. What in-wall speaker wire? What speaker should I use? I would like to set it up as a 7 speaker system including the subwoofer? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks
Nick

The Pionner would be a great reciever. If you can afford it, the 55txi has the i-link feature, which is a great and worthwhile upgrade. But otherwise, the 53 will be excellent for you.

Did you say you wanted to know which speakers to buy?

Or were you interested in which Axiom speakers to buy?

Give us some room dimensions, and how far away your listening postion would be. That'll really help to determine which speakers are best suited for your needs.

That Pioneer is the receiver I'm trying to get my brother to buy. It seems to have some really great features. Look around and you can get it for a really good price as well. Such as here.

The 53Tx is an excellent receiver. MCACC is also a feature that can really dial in your HT environment. It is also 7.1 @ 100w. I sold my old flagship Rotel RSX-1065 receiver for this receiver because 53TX has features that surpass the Rotel receiver. It has an excellent auto calibrating feature to tonally matches all the speakers. It also has better digital 24/192 DACs than my Rotel. It sounds better in 2 channel DIRECT MODE. It upsamples my analog/digital sources to 24/96. It has DTS 24/96.
