So I don't have any real pajamas, but now I'm thinking I should wear a gi to bed. Well, after looking it up, it seems karategi or judogi are the correct terms, and gi simply means "pajamas" in Chinese, so I guess it's appropriate. Does anyone have recommendations on where to get a quality karategi? Also, what are other badass things to sleep in?

Assuming this is a serious question... Ironically, you probably want to buy a 'poor' quality Gi. A good quality gi has very thick material and has stiff seams to withstand all the yanking and pulling. Cheap ones tend to be much lighter material and won't last long if trained in but might be more comfortable for sleeping in. Also, any I've seen or used rely on the belt to keep the upper body jacket closed over. Unless you always sleep on your back, the big knot is going to be pretty uncomfortable. There may or may not be a small inner tie on the closed side and the pants are usually tied in some manner. You will need to be as tough as you are hoping to look as I just can't see these being comfortable to sleep in. PS Avoid the temptation to bleach out stains. It seems to destroy the cotton threads in the seams before their time.

That link goes to a broken link page, I'm afraid. Although maybe the cartoon guy will also inspire him to try wearing lab coats to bed.

Assuming this is a serious question... Ironically, you probably want to buy a 'poor' quality Gi. It was a serious question, and thank you for your thoughtful and lengthy reply. I'll see what I can find that's cheap and go from there. Of course, if I ever start sleep-sparring, I might need to get something a bit heavier-duty.
