Well I know this is the Axiom board but I hope to replace my infinitys with a pair of M80's here in the future. I thought I would throw up a few pics of where they potentialy will sit.

Phil, nice looking set up. I like how the Infinities match the trim! Are those bookshelf speakers stacked on top of the towers?

Yes they are I just stacked them tonight to run a 4 ohm load threw my AVR LOL I went for the lenght of "It Might Get Loud" and didn't have any problems but that was not 4 hrs at very high volume. I couldn't wake the kids LOL.

All the trim as you notices is in a naturla malpe too. I wanted the rose wood M80's to match the wall but I am not too sure now.

You can buy some samples from Axiom and see what the color looks like in your room.

I'm thinking the Mansfield Beech from Axiom might be a close match.

Nice setup Phil, I like the pull down screen ... we're looking at something similar whenever go front projector pretty soon.

So who's hand is it? My first reaction was Derek Trucks but I don't think he uses a pick guard, so my second guess is who knows, certainly not EC I don't believe.

Looks good.

I don't think Trucks uses a pick, does he?

At first glance I thought it was SRV.

He does sometimes, not often, but he does use a pick. Definitely not Stevie either ... that looks like a Gibson.

I had Infinity IL60s before my switch!

I sold them last year (that's why they are sitting out in the cold). You will love the difference!

SRoode that is exactly what I wanted to hear. I head that those IL60's were a real pain to get the sub setting correct unlest you had the ROBO I think it was called.

The Screen is an electric pull down and with all the macros on the harmony 880 with just one push of the button everything powers up, the screen comes down and the lights dim to scene 1.

My first attempt at a family room/TV room/HT room.

Steve, any chance of maybe re-sizing the picture so we won't need to scroll to read the thread?

Phil, what kind of electric pull down is that? An electric pull down is what we're probably going to get. And also...

Who's hands? \:\)

Wait a second, those things have 2 tweeters. "But no one would design a speaker with two tweeters! That's madness!"

Phil - R.A.B.O.S. is what is what it was called, and it did not work that great. On the IL60, the side speaker is more of a woofer than a sub.

Rick - I did resize on Imageshack (I always do), but I guess it was still to big (I picked 1280 x 1024). Otherwise, you would have needed a projector to see it ;\)

Steve does Imageshack have an image size of 640px × 480px to choose from? I have my Photobucket account setup to use 640px × 480px as my default size whenever I download pictures, that size works ideal for most message boards, but ours (Axiom) is the only place I post pictures on.

Rick it is an Elune Vision from eastporters when I originally made the room I did not plan for a screen and a PJ. That is why the center Ch is inwall. Then I was not sure what size of screen to get or if it wold be too big so I choose a cheaper 106" screen, the one you see to test with before I went and spent the $$ on a acoustic transparent screen. Seymore AV if you are looking for a AT screen.

After getting here and seeing the quality for the $$ which is very good, the adjustmnet is a little less refined but is easy to use. The picture looks fine and it is smooth (no waves) for not being tab tensioned and quiet, I kept my $500 screen. My exact screen is Elunevision High Definition Vivid Pro Cinema Grey – 1.8 Gain screen material I see they are now on sale
Screen sale

Really for the price you can't go wrong. So now durign movies I just pull my center speaker out and put it on the stand below. I have my lower limit switch to go only to the top of the CH channel.

You can see the center ch out here with COD modern warfare

Beowolf HD DVD (Yeah I bought it)

My photo skills are weak when it comes to taking pics in a dark room with a bright screen...I haven't joined a fourm for that yet LOL.

Ouch. Better watch out, Adam's 6'5", and he don't take kindly to insulting his favorite band.

Well, assuming he ever comes around again!

Lovely room, Phil. I really like that you have BOTH a flat screen and projector - just brilliant.

It looks like a Gibson SG to me, so I was going to guess Angus Young. \:\(

But I'm having a little trouble with understanding the proportions of the room. Perhaps if you had a picture that included, oh I don't know, an average size human woman in the frame, it would be more intelligible. ;\)

Hunh. I didn't realize that Axiom used to use BASH amps.

Also, Micah, yes. Although better audio porn tends to feature brushed aluminum and/or piano black finishes.
