Hey guys I was checking out ebay and came across this ad. I emailed the guy and said those arent M80s. He emailed me back and said that they are.... he said theyre custom. To me the drivers look different, differnt configuration, and it doesnt even look like an Axiom box. Should this ad be reported? Kinda seems like a scam to me.

I betcha behind the corrugated panel is the driver's seat for the white van that speaker is sitting in.

That is no Axiom M80. Just plain fraud in my book.

It's eBay. What do you expect? Report it if you want, it's likely eBay won't care or do anything about it.

ya paradigm didnt have the tweeter one down, looks like a scam to me. I reported the item to ebay, maybe theyll look at it in a couple days, but then again maybe not because that means no commission.

I just sent a hidden email to this seller about this fraudulant item as well to ebay.

I like that it has unmatched subsonic performance. I wonder how its sonic performance is.

Uh oh, it's pedantic time again. Subsonic and supersonic refer to moving faster or slower than the speed of sound. While infrasonic and ultrasonic reference below and above the hearing range. That's like infrared and ultraviolet, being below and above the visible light spectrum.

The M80 moniker is not Axiom's alone and neither is the M22. I have seen the use of those designations elsewhere. I also noted that nowhere on the ad does he state it to be an Axiom M80.

When I looked at the ad last night it clearly stated it was a pair of "Axiom M80s".

BTW, Pro Audio is a "White van" speaker. This is a rip off.

The titles and description were changed around 1AM.

Yeah, the description has been changed, now it's clear it's some kind of DIY/custom and no mention of Axiom or M80 as before.

That would explain why at 3AM I saw nothing about Axiom.

Ya I got an email from him stating that they are not Axiom Audio M80s. They are custom built for his "Pro" home theatre system. I looked at his other items for sale and he does have some dyna audio drivers for sale. The speakers could possibly be good. I doubt it though, the drivers may not be dyna audio either. The guys feedback is 0. After what he pulled with the Axiom Audio M80 name thing, Id say hes dishonest to say the least. I suspect the whole deal may be a big scam. I wouldnt touch this sale with a 10 foot pole. Quite likely black, white, or whatever van speakers.
Should I email him and him what color his van is?

Yeah, it was I who got him to change the description. He said I did not know what I was talking about when I notified him I was very familiar with Axiom Audio Canada speakers, and he told me he would change the description.

Wierd. One pic of an M80 and 3 pics of an obviously different speaker - does the seller not think anyone will notice ?
