I kept thinking he was going to tag the left grip or peg. I think the helmet cam makes it look worse than it really is. I still doubt I'd do that, but I've done dumber things after a couple beers...... Definately wouldn't take my two stroke on that trail.

I was thinking the same thing re the helmet cam. When he stopped to let his buddy catch up, the steepness of the cliff kind of disappeared. Maybe it was mounted on an angle or something.

That's the same thoughts I had regarding the left grip or peg Mike and my son was telling me that the helmet cams do make the trails look smaller than what it actually is ... but still!

I almost drove one of those fat tired, little 50HP mini bikes off a cliff once. The throttle wasn't hooked up to the handlebars and my 'buddy' had a lever hooked up right to the carb or something that you had to reach down under the seat for. Can't remember exactly how it worked but I remember reaching and reaching as I approached a fence running 90 degrees to maybe a 15' cliff down to the shore. Normally you went through a 2-3 foot space between the fence and the cliff but at a much slower speed and I couldn't slow down. The giant cranky guy who owned the lawn I would have had traverse in order to avoid this maneuver scared me more than the idea of flying off the bank so I kept going.
In hind sight, it wasn't such a small space to go through at the speed I was doing but as a kid who had little experience on even a properly working bike, it was pretty scary.
The above link is a whole other matter though. I'd probably have the nerve to try it but I have enough logic to know I don't have the skill. At least that's how I like to interpret it, a lack of nerve, oops, I mean lack of skill.

That's a lot of power for a mini bike, my son's Suzuki RMZ450 only puts out 53 and that's more than enough. Probably a 50cc mini bike Murph? Speaking of mini bikes, do any of you older guys remember these little jewels from back in the day ... Honda Trail 70

I was denied access to the photo. Is that the CR-70? I think that was what some of my friends had.. I had an ATC90. These are what I was thinking of...

Yep it was Mark, although not the same photo as above... Seems like everybody had these back in the day.

Haha. I remember one of my neighbours had a blue one. Some of the other kids had Rupps.
