Does anyone have any experience auditioning the energy veritas 2.4 vs m80. I am down to two models to choose from. Unfortunately, I do not have a place in Washington DC area to listen to the Axiom, so do not have any way of knowing how they sound. Your respond greatly appreciated.
Regards,
shasho

The problem is that the Axioms are 4 ohms. I have listened to both and in my area the Energy's where $1000 more although they have awsome sound the Axioms gave them a run for their money. Unless you have money to spare I'd go with the Axiom's, then again you may find yourself dishing out another $1000 for a amp to run them.

I pretty much agree with this. For the price the Energy speakers cost, i did not find a huge "improvement" in sound. There were differences but nothing i would say was 'better'.
Axiom is low price : high performance quality which is why its so attractive a product.
