I'd love it if you could offer something like these with maybe different kinds of bases/colors to match the trim of the speakers they already have a decent set of colors

It is quite unnerving.
Actually, that's her "please take the scary camera away from my face, I'm shivering with fright" look.

I do not know if this is practical... But I would like a stand that is simular to a full metal bracket that could attach to a wall or the side of an entertainment center but instead of attaching to the back of the speaker, it would have a base that the speaker would rest on and a telscoping arm to move a couple inches in or out.

Exactly! I have been thinking about this for the M22's, if done well it should give them a floating appearance. I'll probably have to draw something up and go see a local welding shop.

My girlfriend and I have always wished that my SS 24 stands were maple instead of black. My entertainment furniture is maple wood with silver poles. The stands match the furniture there. However, the rest of the wood on the furniture and my Axioms are maple, so the black on the stands looks out of place. I would definitely rebuy the stands if the black parts were matching my maple M22's.
My girlfriend actually hates the shape of the black base. I do not personnally care, but she thinks it would be better with a metal-tripod-style base.

I'd like to see a stand that had less of a "box on a stick" look when the speaker was on top of it. Color matching would also be great. I couldn't find anything on racksandstands.com that I really liked the idea of with the M22s, other than the Plateau models, which my wife poo-pooed because they're not wood colored.

I posted in another forum regarding the M22s with the SS16 stands. Forgive any duplication of content, but I thought this would be an appropriate location to restate some ideas. The following is a suggestion for a new stand for the M22s.
I'd like to see stands with a platform that matches the base of the M22 (identical wedge shape, or slightly smaller than the M22 base). Metal threaded inserts (like on the bottom of tower speakers for the spikes) in the bottom of the M22s could match up with pre-drilled holes in the stand platform so the speakers could be easily secured. Finally, the base of the stand should weigh at least as much as the speakers on top, for additional stability. I sorta like the idea of filling the post, but the same weight distributed in the base instead would make for a much more stable solution.
I don't really have suggestions for improvements to the stands re: colour, because they look fine to me as they are.
