I'm considering purchasing a pair of M60s. What's the best AVR to push these?
I've been looking at the Denon 3311, the Marantz SR6004, Onkyo NR808, and the Pioneer SC-25. I'm open to other suggestions.

Welcome to the forums!
The M60s are easy to drive and pretty efficient.... there's nothing about them that require special amp considerations. You can purchase a receiver based upon the features you want and the price you would like to pay!

I'm a Denon man myself. More so because of general reliability and robustness of the power supply sections. Denons have great feature sets as well although I don't care for audyssey or any of those auto calibration setups modern receivers use.

I agree with Mark. Start from the features you want/need and go from there.

There is no ONE avr that is best for any speaker. I would pick the avr that has all the bells and whistles you are looking for and enjoy.

i went to the axiom homepage today at about 10:30am and it was completely revamped. new graphics new homepage greeting and everything; it looked better than the old one. i got home and the homepage is back to the old homepage, were they just testing it out? when i saw that new page i thought that the VP180 was going to show up early, of course that didn't happen. just curious if anyone else got to see the new and improved homepage at axiom before they changed it back to the old one thats there now?

You aren't crazy (well....... anyhow), I just went and googled 'Axiom Audio' and it went to the new, 'revamped' version. And no, no VP180 just yet.

I noticed the new main page yesterday and I still see it today. It is a BIG improvement. Overall more elegant and information is displayed in a more organized fashion. I like it.

If you guys are seeing the old version, just hit CTRL-F5 to force a complete refresh of your browser. That should do it.

That doesn't work on my Mac. :-P
Or in Firefox on Windows, for that matter.

Heck, for that matter, it doesn't change the page in my IE8! Ooops. I always go to the forum directly so when I went to the home page, I thought it was the 'new' page.

The thing I like about Axiom's homepage is that it's refreshingly free of esoteric crap--go to most mid-high end manufacturers' pages, and it's all black backdrops, crossfades, and closeups of the midranges and cabinetry, usually with dramatic music.
With Axiom (although I still think it's a tad busy), you want info on their products? One click and boom, you're there.
