I'm looking for center chanel and surround speakers. Can anyone tell me , please what the most important specification factors are to lok for in order to match the main speakers best. Is it sensivity, freequency, watts, ohms? My main speakers have aluminium cones. Do surround & center have to have aluminium cones too?
Main speakers : 100W, Peak 250W, Sensivity 90db, SPL 107 , 4-8 ohms, frequency32hz-20khz
I appreciate your answers

It would be easier just to say what those main speakers are. You want them to match tonally. Specs don't really help in that regard. There a many, many folks on here that have heard a great deal of speakers what may have heard your speakers and would know a good match.

gero,
There is no specification that will help you to best match your present speakers with a centre or surround.
You really need to hear the speakers together or know of someone (several ppl) who might have heard them before and can give you an opinion.
I recommend that you post more info about the brand and model of your present speakers and if you have questions about this subject, often referred to as 'timbre matching', then send an email or private message to Alan Lofft at Axiom.
He has heard more speakers than most animals on earth and will be very helpful in answering your question (assuming someone here on the forums cannot).
