Yeah, it's good that you are looking hard at the size. The one thing everyone agrees on w.r.t. the VP-180 is that it's *big*

Thank you for your replies - though I thought there would be more 180 owners with input.
Anyhow, VP-180 has just been ordered and should arrive next week.

Oscar I really don't know if there are that many VP180 owners here on the boards to begin with. I'm extremely pleased with our upgrade from the 150 to the 180, it blends so smooth with the M80s for a really nice soundstage and I certainly believe it was definitely worth the upgrade.
