I finally ended up getting the eD A5-350 after waiting for around 50 days. I was real close to canceling the order a few times but the wife was like, be patient, so I continued to wait. Now that I have it in the system I'm glad I did. No review will be forth coming but if you read what I wrote about the A3-300 it will give you an idea of what this sub is like, just a whole lot more.

Nice sub! Have you ever considered the A7S-450 as well? If yes, I was just wondering what made you pick this one?

Nice sub! Have you ever considered the A7S-450 as well? If yes, I was just wondering what made you pick this one? No, I hadn't considered that particular model. The A5-350 was at a great price point and seemed to have done well in the reviews I had read. Plus talking to the fellas over at eD they informed me the 350 had about as much output as 2 300s. The A3-300 did well in my room so I figured I couldn't go wrong with this model.

The reason I was asking is because I am looking into these 2 models from ED as well as the Epik Empire. The A5-350 and A7s-450 are around the same price except that the A7s has an 18" driver, a 1300W PS and is sealed (vs 15", 500W and ported) and I wasn't able to find a direct comparison yet. However, it seems that the A7S needs to be EQed in order to get below 22Hz.
