... or do a little wood working, and build yourself some closet doors, and use grill cloth to cover them OMG that is the BEST IDEA EVER! Closet doors that look like GIANT IN-WALL SPEAKERS! If I ever get a divorce, I'll be doing that in my master bedroom! snazzed

Thanks everyone. I acquiesced and ordered a pair of on-wall M22's. The bedroom is 13' X 21' by 8' (LWH). I actually ran all the cables (component, ethernet, HDMI, IR emitter, and speaker cables) in the wall so it should workout fine. All the settop boxes, Marantz 5001, blu-ray etc is going to sit in a closet. Interestingly, I didn't know M22 on-walls were ported on the bottom. So my living will be M80's, VP180, QS8's and EP500. Bedroom will be just two M22. I may bring the EP175 from my other place, but honestly, in the bedroom I don't really need the sub. And EP175, to me, is a little underwhelming compared to the EP500 (not surprising when you consider the price differential. The next upgrade will probably be another M80's for WIDE use. But we'll see how that pans out.

While the sound isn't quite on par with my old M60/VP150 setup, there's no denying how much better my living room looks now. That said, this still sounds darn nice.

Honestly, if I were just doing on-walls flanking a wall-mounted flat panel, I would only be looking at L & R anyway.
I don't see a need for a center when the L & R are only separated by the width of a screen, unless, as was said, surrounds and a sub are being added as well for a full HT experience. That just means your TV isn't big enough.
