Alternative to SS16s for M22s?

Hello all,
I just received my new M22s, and they sound wonderful. Only one problem: the SS16 stands failed the Spouse Test. On the web site, the SS16s appear to be cherry and tan, but in fact they are black and aluminum. It's the aluminum that fails the Test.
Can anyone suggest an alternative? I need stands that (1) are in the 16-20" range; (2) have top plates small enough to accommodate the M22s; (3) are extremely solid and tip-resistant (able to withstand two small boys); and (4) are aesthetically pleasing ("elegant" and black and/or cherry). Help!
Thanks,
Rob

Atlantis SBF 20 stands. It's what I use, I'll never question the purchase.

Take a look at the links on this site:
http://www.ozenterprises.net/stands/
Some nice brands in there, lotsa options for metals, colours and styles. Almost all are fillable with weighted materials for extra stability.

Many thanks to all of your for your help. Armed with your advice, I went surfing and found two models that met the exacting Spouse Test: the Atacama Nexus 5 (20") and the Atlantis Signature series (16" and 20"). (Multiple columns, it seems, are more tasteful than single ones.) Both are reasonably priced (115-125 USD). I went with the Atacama because the top shelf is a bit narrower across the front, but either should work nicely. Rob

It may be too late, but Sanus makes the model # NF18 which has a cherry center post and a black top and base. They come in 18" 20" and 24" and look like they were MADE for the Boston M22's
