I'm hoping someone here can find a place to order something to help me out.

The LEDs on the Playstation Eye are like two little lasers piercing my retina any time I play a Move game. I don't leave the Eye plugged in because the blue LED is always on.

I'm hoping to find some sort of sticker material to place over the LEDs. It'd have to be at least partly translucent, because I still want to know when the camera turns on, but dark enough to cut 50 to 75% of the light (something between an ND2 or NS4 in photography terms).

The face of the camera isn't that big, so something the size of a hole punch would be perfect. Or a sheet of the sticker material from which I can punch out a hole.

Any ideas?

Go to an optical place where they dilate your eyes and pick up a pair of those cheap dark glasses. Use multiple thicknesses to increase darkness.

I just put some black duct tape over the bright green LED on the baby monitor. The LED is bright enough to get through it, but it's not too bright.

I really want it in sticker form so I don't have to make a mess with glue. But I'll do something like that if I can't find it with adhesive already attached.

This is something everyone in my living room, looking toward the TV, will see. So I'm trying to keep the ugliness factor down.

I used double-sided tape to affix a quarter to the center (OK or select) button on a DTV R15 DVR. A little blue glow still comes out around the edges. It's in the bedroom so I don't care too much how it looks. My retinas thanked me. It was a touching moment.

Is there such a thing as 2 sided transparent tape?

yes, double sided scotch tape.

That's what I use to keep my strapless dresses over my boobs.

Chris, head to the nearest dollar store and see what they have in the way of kids stickers. Maybe some of the extra area between stickers can help you out?

I posted on my Facebook as I'm friends with an art teacher, and someone who works at an arts and crafts store. Waiting to see if they know any local places.

We had a 'possum on the screen porch eating cat food the other night. The cat was just laying there watching.

For that price, those things should also improve your picture and tighten your bass.

By removing extraneous glare directed at your eyes, they possibly can improve the picture.

If the Mark-It people don't come through, those look like a good bet.

They do make nice greasy stains off the side of the road.

Chris also I think you could use static cling window tinting material that can be found most anywhere with various shades and color, I use it on some of the electronics faces that just don't dim enough whenever I'm doing any night work with my airplane. I think I suggested using this to somebody here that was basically doing the same thing you are looking to do a while back.

Yeah, I saw this http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00081L2Q2 but it is such a small surface area, I wasn't sure if the static electric effect would be enough to make it stay in place.
