Well....I was at my Brother-in-law's and he had his TV on some stretch mode that made her look like an Oompaloompa. SO I don't know about cute. Later in the second quarter, I was able to grab the remote and surreptitiously change the setting to a more normal look.

They're steroids for the waistline, which, due to water weight gain from the real steroids, is redundant. I'm putting on weight like a bear preparing for winter.

Uhhh, Jack, springtime's around the corner, you're a little late.

Adrian, we don't know that for sure. You can make wild guesses based on what happened in previous years, but we could be in for months of winter.

I just went out to restock the firewood bin and it sure feels like we're in for months of winter wink

Months of winter? I guess you're not a believer in global warming, John! grin

Your point is well taken, but the steroids are mandatory, and the hunger comes with the package. Speaking of that, it's time for LUNCH!!!!! YEA!

And, there is some irony in reading "springtime's around the corner" on what is, thus far, the coldest day of the year. It was 3F right outside my door around 9 AM this morning. Who knows what it was at 6AM.

Evidently, when I was a kid of 3 or 4, my mom couldn't find me in the house, anywhere. In a panic, she started looking outside and found me all the way down at the end of the block (our house was in the middle of the block). Mad and scared, she asked what I was doing there and evidently, I told her that I was looking for Spring around the corner because she told someone on the phone that's where it was.

I think she's still a little mad about it.
