I was wondering if anyone experimented with aftermarket outriggers for their M80s. I like the look of that as I've seen in other speakers. Any recommendations that would fit the M80 speakers? thanks.

I know a few folks here have made their own(Calling Mark! ) and at least one has posted pics of their M80s(?) with aftermarket outriggers, so a search might actually turn something up, provided you can get it to work, sorry not much help am I.

Don't bother searching. Mark's shop is waaayyyy too clean and his standing tools are too new looking. Demand that he make a pair for everyone. Each in a different species, a different stain color (double-dyed, too?!?), and a different sheen.

Thanks, Graemme. The feet are awesome, like 1920'2/30's Surrealist furniture. Insist that Mark make 'em look like that, but still in hardwood with different...everything.
And Charles, I think you should ask Mark for yours to be button upholstered---in paisley. And the print MUST match when it rolls over from one face to the other.

Jay, call me lazy, but I refuse to be categorized under the same nomenclature that Mark would be ! Graemme, good to see you around these parts! Hope all is well with you and your wife.

Regarding Bryston Amps-a really good friend of mine owns one, and is good friends with the owner of Bryston (my friends business does lots of work at his house). I could probably get a good deal on one, or test one out in my house for free; I've just never asked. I have wanted to get one for a while, so we'll see .

LOL that first pic was priceless but the other outriggers look awesome. Man the M80s with a nice set of feet sure look sweet. Too bad Axiom doesn't offer that as an upgrade option.

Yeah, maybe they'd get better reviews or prettier graphs if they had outriggers.

Yeah, maybe they'd get better reviews or prettier graphs if they had outriggers. Yeah, and if Axiom would sell them expensive enough so the M80s would break the $2000 mark, I am sure they would sound even better.

http://www.soundocity.com/index.htmlComments Section: Outriggers arrived a couple of days ago. Very well packaged and I didn't injure myself unwrapping them! Now have them mounted on my Axiom M80s and I love them! I have them tilted up a shade so it improves the imaging and I think it opens the bass a bit too.
Thanks, Rob (Duncan BC)

I can't stand reading reviews / articles that make you go to a new page after every few sentences.....

I don't think so. It was simply a metaphor for his dating secrets.

Inexplicably, I watched "Twilight New Moon" the other night.....at any rate, Werewolves can just "smell" when Vampires are around. Maybe Adrian can just "smell" when Trolls are around?

Maybe Adrian can just "smell" when Trolls are around? If that were true, he woudn't need the boat! Do they manufacture a troll sonar?
