I've had a few more freezes. A couple when picking stuff up and another on a loading screen. This is the second time on a loading screen. Experienced a battle with slowdowns with the sound cutting in and out really fast. I could watch my receiver kicking in and out rapidly from Dolby Digital to pro-logic. I know when the game entirely freezes is when the receiver kicks out entirely in reading Dolby Digital on the display.

I have to say while a good game, it is to clunky of an experience for me to give it any serious "best game of the year" awards. Actually I am kind of disappointed how buggy it is considering how long Bethesda had to do work on this game.

I wish Mass Effect could create such an open world like this of it size. I love the huge environment and atmosphere Skryim offers. However ME totally owns in overall "tightness" in gameplay. Just a way more polished game. If ME3 can create the depth Skyrim offers, I think it will be one amazing game that will destroy it in every way.

Besides the occasional random booting me out of the game, I'm doing okay. I started to have some extreme slowdown, but I looked up some tweaks for the INI files and it plays fine now. Unfortunately, the random game closing thing still happens after playing for somewhere between 1-2 hours straight. I seem to be saving regularly enough to avoid true pain.

I love the Mass Effect series, but they're not really in the same league with Elder Scrolls for huge, open world. I don't foresee that changing. The bugs are annoying, and in your case, not worth it, but I'm enjoying the scope of the game too much to let it bother me. And man, the dragon battles make me really glad I have EP800s. Fun!

Well, I read a little on the level cap situation. I was going by what my coworker was telling me, but it seems like it doesn't really cap at 50. Sounds like you can keep going to 81 max if you increase every skill to 100. That means 80 perks total. Still not the 280 I want, but 30 more perks than I thought is much better. I can at least finish getting a lot of what I want.

Oh, yeah, and I had to name my character Robitussin Vermouth. When I finally enchant the Daedric armor I intend on having, it will all be Negative Orange ______. What names did you come up with?
