I don't like giving up rights to a photo like this, but this is still a fun site to visit.

It's certainly not likely to be a saleable image, but the whole "we basically own it and can do whatever we want now, Mwah-Ha-Ha-Ha" attitude always bugs me. (OK, I added the evil laugh)

Why not just say "Hey, post them here, but be aware that others might grab them off the net and we're not responsible".

this idea is far from new.

if someone wants to "steal" a photo, there's not much one can do to prevent it from being used for profit; even watermarking is not hard to circumvent, except in some cases, like here:

It has been observed the size of the watermark is inversely proportional to the talent of the photographer.
