Just received my new axiom m22s after the damn us customs impounded them for a week. Do they do this to all shippments or am I the only one??? Anyway after hookup, I am amazed how good these sound. I was playing linkin park, to alan jackson at very high listening levels. They sounded great and never harsh! They are hooked up to a harman kardon avr 325. I am impressed.

My Axiom shipment came in the promised two days (and I'm clear out in Portland, Oregon) without any hangup in customs. I think customs is kind of random.
I also ordered the M22s and I'm extremely impressed.

Mine also came in two days.
I too am impressed with the M22. Just need to get used to hearing my speakers instead of just listening to them. HT is quite impressive, but regular stereo is a whole new experience to me. I am coming from 6 years with an Infinity sat/sub set-up and before that a 10 y/o Technics rack system.

Funny, me too (10-year-old Technics rack system). I'm still getting used to the new sound--it's quite different from what I got out of the Technics system. But, an incredible improvement. I couldn't believe the difference. Going from the Technics components to the Harman Kardon 230 made a lot of difference. Then, before I wired in the Axioms (I hooked up the M22s first), I listened to several passages on the Technics speakers. I then hooked up the Axioms and couldn't believe how much clearer they were.
I'd like to listen to my entire CD collection at moderate volume to discover what I've been missing. Trouble is, we have 16-month-old twin boys. You can imagine what it's like trying to listen to music when they are awake. And, I can't turn it up when they are asleep--or they won't be asleep for long. :-)
