Does anyone know if there would be any problems with using the VP150 center channel speaker that is rated at 6 ohms with my other surround speaker that are 8 ohms. I am using a Yamaha RXV2400 Home Theater Receiver that is currently set on the 8 ohms setting.

Should work just fine ;p. Don't put it at the 6 ohm setting, as that limits power dramatically. Instead, just make sure you have good ventilation and check to see that the receiver doesn't get TOO hot during heavy use...

I'll second DJS's recommendation.

Yamaha 1400/2400s are supposed to be able to do 4ohm loads- 6ohm loads should be no problem.
