Ok...this is probally a stupid question. I am getting a 2nd Adcom GFA-555 to drive the QS8's I just purchased. The first GFA is driving my M80's at the moment. Due to tha large size of my room, and wanting to minimize wire runs, I was planning on putting one amp on each side of my home ent centre. Now on to the stupid question. Does is matter if each 555 is driving a M80 and a QS8 on one side of the room. Or is it better to have one 555 drive the 80's and the other drive the QS8's? I don't think it should matter, but just thought I would ask anyways.

My guess is they'd run more efficiently at matched impedences. 80s (4 ohm), QS8s (6 ohm). But I'm not an electrician. What do I know? Though to answer your question, if they're stereo amps, I don't think it will have a problem running both at all. But I'd wait till someone with more knowledge comes along to pass final judgement
