I have recently purchase the Floorstand M60 and the Center speaker VP150. What do you guys recommend for a receiver that would work well with these speakers. I have a budget of about $1000. Thank you.

I'd go with NAD or Harman. They typically offer meatier amps than the mainstream brands (ie. Denon, Yamaha).

I'd also look at the Marantz SR6006 and the Denon AVR3312CI.

I've had an Onkyo 797 for over 8 years now pushing M60s, a VP150 and QS8s. It has plenty of power for 95dB+ SPL in a 15x18 room. Any receiver for $1k will suit you fine. Look for features that you need or want to help you decide.
