Thanks for linking those articles. It was interesting to have a closer view of the NRC facilities, thanks to Mr. Barton.
It should be pointed out that the author's comment about the size of the anechoic chamber limiting the accuracy at very low frequencies should instead have stated that the controlling factor was the depth of the wedges, rather than the chamber size itself. As Ian mentioned recently, the Axiom chamber is calibrated for results below about 80Hz by applying a correction resulting from measurements outside on the tower, which has no low frequency inaccuracy.
