Boltron, Still waiting for the pictures Cohesion, i was not aware that the laminate was more durable than the real wood. I'll have to keep that in mind. You guys know anything about getting those outriggers that are on the LFR's for the M80's? The laminate is somewhat more durable than the real wood in the same way that a thin sheet of plastic is more durable than a thin sheet of wood. Under both is the same MDF.

I don't know that I agree with the premise nor the example. I don't see that the vinyl finishes, though very nice, are more "durable" than wood veneer.

The outrigger bolts for the LFRs are 14" on center, which is the same as the M80s. So if you ordered a pair for the M80s, then they will work. Plus the sides of the cabinet are the same dimension in depth.

However I found it rather easy to dent the corner of one of my LFR's (finished in real wood) as I was unboxing them. I had no such problem with my M80's in classic black vinyl. Suffice it to say I was being VERY careful with the LFR's.

Boltron, thanks for the photos. They look amazing.
I contacted Axiom about the outriggers for the M80's and they told me they will be available toward the end of January for the M80's for around $90.00.

Would it be weird if I had outriggers made for my VP180?

Charles, do you really need to ask that question for anything you do?
$90 for a full set for two speakers? That's way better than the custom jobbies I ordered for my M80s--I think that ran me about $200 for the full set.

Dakkon, who is jeff and how much does he charge? Sorry, Jeff is the guy that programs the machines at the Axiom factory, in addition to various other jobs I'm sure.. Call the 866 number and ask Brent or JC, if there has been any discussion as to offering out riggers for the M60's/M80's... Hope this helps.
