So the DC area is due to receive from 0-18" of snow tomorrow, possibly accompanied by lightning, in a storm dubbed "Snowquester". I live in an area that tends to get more snow than the rest. I also have an early flight to catch Friday morning, so I was dreading having to clear the long gravel driveway after the storm blew past.
When I pulled up my driveway coming home from work today and saw that my neighbor had put up reflector poles along the entire length of the driveway, I was a happy man. Snow plow for the win!

You crazy Americans and your need to personify storms.
Here in Atlantic Canada we keep it simple and refer to them by a rating system, mostly determined by wind speed.
1 to 10 knots -- Barely a fart from a hen's arsehole 11 to 20 knots -- A good wash day 21 to 30 knots -- A bow-slapper 36 to 40 knots -- A stiff breeze 41 to 60 knots -- A bit of a blow on, eh! 60 knots plus -- Blowin like a MutherF___er
With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.
