I am not sure if I read here that axiom has a factory for making drivers in china , or did I somehow make that up. Getting old is cruel

I should let an Axiom rep answer this; however, I was told during my factory tour at Dwight last year that factory reps are continually sent over to the Asian facility on a rotating basis to supervise production in order to ensure strict quality control....

I have another query for Axiom - are the v2 & v3 tweets the exact same or were there any upgrades made between the versions?
I for one like our tweets. I should, I guess, as there are 10 of them in my house...

Tom, here's comments by Alan on the v3 tweeter. Those comments echo what many ppl including myself had been saying for years regarding the 'brightness' of Axiom speakers. Sadly i have the older Axioms with the resistor installed, but for most material and the frequency at which that system is used, it is fantastic for the price we paid. I've always been searching for a potential replacement for the two mains but have a love for the M60s such that i can't let them go either. Such a conundrum!

It seems Ian has made a video which brings us up to speed on the tweeter front. Read all about it here. More driver info to be revealed in the coming months.

Excellent info. Please keep them coming.
Hopefully these articles will help dispel some of the speculation, conjecture & myths that have been perpetuated out there...

I've always liked these bits of info. People speculated for years that the Axiom drivers were Chinese made and there was always part truth to it. I can understand though how a company wouldn't want to reveal everything they do and everything they source.
Interesting to see the evolution of that story. Probably still one of the most open companies when it comes to showing/describing how they go about building what they build.
