Ha... Of course in all but I think 1 of those, there was no cat bed, just the dog bed... No wonder the cat took it. LOL
Our dog and cat are best buds, but our previous two cats and this came dog just tolerated each other. The cats stole the dog bed all of the time until we got a cat bed that was just as nice as the dog bed.
We no longer have any pet beds, so the pillows and throw blankets on the couch seem to work for them now.

I got my cat a heated bed last year and she still won't sleep in it (much). Only sometimes when it is also on top of my bed. She prefers to sleep by me so she can kneed me with her claws in the middle of the night.

I've had a heated cat bed for 10 years - my big & heavy Sony 21" CRT that produced just the right amount of heat for cat napping. It was interesting when 2 of them wanted up there at the same time! Unfortunately for them, I recently retired the vintage CRT & they don't know quite what to do anymore. I had a couple of close calls where they've tried to jump up on my new, thin Asus 27" monitor - not good, ha! Some pics: TAM

I wonder how many people try to click the YouTube "Play" icon in the middle of your monitor when looking at the picture.

I wonder how many people try to click the YouTube "Play" icon in the middle of your monitor when looking at the picture. I tried it and saw all kinds of interesting photos. Church, motorcycles, helicopters, etc.
