Years ago I went to a range with an LAPD officer. His duty weapon was a Beretta, but his backup was a Sig P226 (both in 9mm). The Beretta was sloppy (floating barrel end). Then he had me shoot his Sig... I went from a 3+" group to one ragged hole. I was sold. But the P226 is a larger frame than I like, so I ended up with the P228 SAS in .40 S&W (sort of a 10mm short). A little large for concealed carry, but it works for me. Not a Glock fan either - just can't get used to the trigger...
