Sure is easy spending other peoples money and lots of fun too Actually I'm not sure what I'm going to use to drive speakers. I have and older Onkyo Asv 610 pro. I like the newer Onkyo's because the the network port...yes, I'm a crimial, I download music...although after some research, NAD seems to be a better brand of reciever. The speakers I'm using now are Infinity and since I've learned a new term here, "bright", I'll use it to describe them...dont' like em, but they have gotten me by. Still researching speakers. Listened to some Polk's at a friends house and wasn't really that impressed. Hopefully I can find someone with Axioms in N. Indiana or I'll need to take a road trip.
Definately need rears first though as I fried one of the Infinity's enjoying a concert DVD of Roger Waters. Oh well

Which concert? The Berlin Wall, or In the Flesh? I saw the In the Flesh tour in Cincy a couple of years ago. I got 5th row seats for $40 per. I never would have gotten that close for a Floyd show!

I have a copy of the "in the flesh" concert on DVD. Actually I think it was done pretty well. I'm jealous though, 4th row at a very good concert. I think Pink Floyd pretty much died when waters left. Don't get me wrong, what Gilmore and friends have come out with since is pretty damn good, they just don't have the edge that Roger gave them.

tcook,

All in fun. I have an NAD T761 and am very happy with it although I do plan on expanding the system after we move with a couple of dedicated amps, M80's, VP 150, and a new sub.

There are some people in the forum who have Onkyo and may be able to give you some feedback on them.

We hope to be in West Palm Beach by the end of the summer, so if your in the area come over and we'll have a few Guinness and listen to some tunes.
