This is my first attempt at attaching images. Please let me know if you guys can view it.

The room is 9'9" x 13'6" (lengthwise is measured from the recessed area wall-to-wall). Bed size is 56" x 72". The dotted boxes are where I am thinking of putting the m60s. Please feel free to comment and recommend!!

The room is a loft room with the roof pitch being right in the center above the bath room door. I will attach elevation drawings later.

Would really appreciate some advice/opinions!

Thanks.

This is the link to the image. I've seen so many of you succesfully attach images to the message. What am I doing wrong? I followed the advice from the FAQ page but it doesn't seem to be working...

Thanks!

The link you provided isn't a link for a photo (image). It's a link that takes you to a sign-in page for your album of photos. You need to provide a link which takes you directly to a specific photo if you want the photo to appear in your post.

You most likely did it correctly, it seems like that site doesn't allow direct linking.

Just so you know, if you hit preview and it doesn't look right, it's not going to look right on the boards... To do a link, you should do this: [ url ]theurl.com[ /url ] without the spaces. Alternately, you can do this: [ url=theurl.com ]whatever words you want[ /url ] for that neato link without the huge string.

Yup, it doesn't allow outside linking. Like I said, it can all be tested from the preview window...

Bingo. You created a link which takes us to the photo. And the guys seem to be correct. That site doesn't allow direct linking. If you would like a site that DOES allow direct linking, try Photobucket.com. It's free, although they do ask for a donation (I just made one), and several of us, here on the forum, use it.

Now if I could only remember what your question was?

Hey Jack,

Thanks!

LOL I guess I owe it to everyone to repost this...

Here are the elevation drawings:

Would really appreciate some advice/opinions!

Thanks for the refresher. I'm old. Short term memory loss, ya know.

It would be helpful to know a few dimensions. How far from the back wall, and side walls would the 60s be? How far from the the listening position (your head on the bed, I assume) would they be?

Here's the link for the room with dimensions...I have not decided where to put the m60s yet. The drawing shows the only way I think can put them because of the position of everything else. I welcome any recommendations.

Well, I'm gonna give you the standard cop out answer to your question. Experiment with placement to see what sounds best. I don't think the pitched ceiling will be a problem. You might be able to put the 60s a little closer to the back wall, might not. You might be able to move the 60s a little farther from the side walls (ie. closer together), might not. Sorry I'm not more help, but I just don't have the expertise to advise you.

Hey Jack,

Thanks anyways. I have given up on this thread and started a new one. This one has been flooded with too many of my dastardly attempts at internet language.

I can't experiment right now because I'm 2 months away from moving into the space and I need to think about whether I should keep the m60s or return them ASAP for exchange.
