I was considering a Rotel RA-1060, but this thing is the same price and looks like an awesome deal. Just thought some of you looking to upgrade, or just get some new toys would find it interesting.

to awnser your question over at AA, yes i think this is a better deal than the rotel. you get alot more power and options.

Of course, you could get the 270 power amp used and build yourself a foreplay preamp with upgrades for the same price as the combo package. Never heard the nad preamp but i bet the foreplay is just as good or better. Not to mention its tubes

Instead of the combo you could also consider the C372 which ya can get for the same amount. Its supposed to be better than the 370 which has the same amplifier section as the 270.
