Lived with yellow for 5 years or so. Time for a change. Wow what an improvement I think. Much darker room. The PJ benefits for sure. Not really fair picture comparison with different lights on, but you get the idea. Phase 1 of room update. Next phase rear wall diffuser and rear subwoofer baffle wall. Sold off oldie but goodie side and rear surrounds. Have to decide between M3OW and M5OW. Pros and cons for both. Maybe some can chime in. Anyway: Old room color. Burnt Yellow. New room color. Moss Green.

Very nice space Trevor!! Sorry no opinions from me as i havent heard any of those speakers but just wanted to comment on your space. I actually kinda lke the old yellow! But it's probably the lighting, green is my favorite color. I like wall sconce lights too. Classy.
What are the dimenions and cu ft of your room?
Again man, really nice dedicated space!

I like both colors but moss green is closer to lime so there's that.
M5OW all the way due to higher fidelity but you will need more power compared to M3.

My dinner partner says yellow is cheerful and green is dingy. I like dingy. It reminds me of Winnipeg.

Cheerful yellow might be great for a living room but theater wise the darker color will make the picture pop a lot better.

The green helps to set more of a movie theater setting to me, along with those wall sconces. Looks way better!
Are the sconces mounted on absorbers as well?
When are those sides and rears to arrive and be installed?

Bill, when you go to Dwight, try to sneak into the factory and report on what the heck they're working on over there.

I second this motion!!! Make sure you have a spy camera in your umbrella handle, Steed style. They are definitely up to something!! I’d sure like see more options in the Active DSP in the both LFR and standard v4 line. An M100 Active / DSP would be awesome! Make sure you take lots of black and white microfilm with you. https://youtu.be/khkGSKHwkIEOne of favourites!!

They've built a huge lab in the back. You'll know it by the neon sign on the door which reads "Model C". We don't know much about this other than the 18", transparent aluminum woofers. Oh...and the packing styrofoam labeled "Model C" in one of Mojo's shipments.
You'll also want to look for a manuscript titled "Top Secret - Spinorama: Curves of tone and SPL, perfect sound these curves foretell". That's all the secret sauce right there, Bill!

Yes, sconces mounted on absorbers. Speakers not on order yet. I have an install pending with OWM3 in the next couple weeks. I will decide when I get to play with them first. Likely M3 although I would rather M5. Just cant justify adding amplication right now to make them shine. The M3s would be happy with my existing amp (NAD777)

Hmmm...I wonder if you could get them with bi-wire terminals. Would they sound like M2s if you don't power the HP drivers with your NAD?

I dont think they offer on walls biwire because of the T bracket mount. I could probably run the M5OW, but they have low sensitivity compared with the rest of the system. Im not sure they will track well across all volumes…. If I had M5 all around non issue. Lot of variables pointing to M3

I dont think they offer on walls biwire because of the T bracket mount. That may be. FYI, my QS10s also have posts for a 2-wire cable.

You can hear everything that you can measure. You can't measure everything you can hear. Beware those who claim a monopoly on the truth.

I’m pretty sure if you can hear it it can be measured. But I’m willing to let you believe otherwise if it makes you happy and avoids an argument

We have no way today of measuring what we hear. Far-field from the ear, no problem. Near-field, by the ear drum, no way!

Ok Mojo, for you I’ll try and restate it … if you can hear sound, defined as periodic pressure changes of the air external to your body, it’s most likely that it can be measured. P.s. I’m sure you can define it better … since I know you know what I’m trying to say

Well...they may be aperiodic pressure changes but I get your point.

Just finished an install with OWM3s. Very nice.
But….
The future me will always wonder. OWM5s win.

Are the M3OW for your surrounds?

I put those in a high end cabana house by a pool. I got to try them out for an hour or so over a few visits while other gear was installed. Pretty impressive for their size, but I know I will need more grunt in my room to keep up with the mains.
I will try to get some pics if the homeowner gives me permission to share.

That's a good home for M3s.
