Yeah, and my Apple rip-off "Listen Different" didn't make it either.

I submitted 12-14 slogans. Not one listed. I guess the idea of quantity over quality did not fly.

Yeah, for some reason my "Want Proof of How Much Bose Sucks?" didn't make it in either.

AGAIN?.........
I thought this would be a good thread to bring back, for any contest "after thoughts".

I like the name chosen..........but, I was under the impression the contest was to reflect the speaker's outdoors aspect. .....oops.

I could have at LEAST gone down in flames, going in the right direction.

I'm really sorry you don't approve of the choice! It resonates very well with Canadians a lot of visitors internationally - it's a National Park literally on the doorstep of our factory, and it's bigger than Northern Ireland! Hundreds of thousands of people come every year to revel in the awesome beauty of the park.

I know that holding contests inevitably result in somebody having to lose out. I hope that people still enter, though, because we really like getting the input. We'll have another naming contest by this weekend - and several more throughout the year. I hope you still contribute!

Damp is a good name for the digital amp, since I'm damp just thinking about it.

I've long thought that there should be punctuation marks that denote sarcasm and jokes. My high school friend, Bruiser, came up with the "delta sarc." It was a triangle with a squiggle inside, for just such occasions. Here's an example, when spoken aloud:

"I really enjoyed Mr. Freeman's history lecture today, delta sarc..."

I can't help but think that if only it had caught on with the general public, all of this could have been averted, sigma joke.

Well, aren't you a genius ~ ~ ~

I think the trailing tilde works well to denote saracasm. I used it here multiple times for extra stress on the sarcasm.
