I have a question about the M60 speakers that I recently purchased. I got the M60s the VP150 and the QS4 surrounds and I love them. They sound amazing. The question I have is about the M60s on the website the picture shows the M60s with two ports on the back of the speaker but mine only have one? Why is this? Are my speakers older? Will this affect there performance? Thanks for any info

Actually Ian has answered this question already awhile ago.
I believe the number of ports came from a design change but that there is no major performance difference b/w the M60s.

Don't tell her, get the QS8's and then just make the switch late at night while she is sleeping. if she says that the speakers look bigger today, give her that are you losing your mind again kind of look and enjoy the 8's they are great speakers
Ps let me know if it works I may have to try it sometime!

Hehehe nice trick there John, actually i already tricked my wife when I replace the M50 with M60, the M50 is in maple finished and I told her I am going to replace them with a different color (cherry), and she agreed....:-)....works the first time, so may work again the second time....(my qs4 is black oak).

Well if if you want them to match, take her with you to the Home Depot, buy a sheet of cherry vaneer, tell her that you are going to recover the QS4's to match the the cherry finish on the 60's. Then WoW! Low and behold one night somewhere down the line you did, and hey honey, look how great this turned out, looks just as good as a factory job.
Maybe worth a shot don't you think! On the other hand she may think you have suddenly become very handy with the tools, and then are you ever in trouble!
