I am moving into a condo (1800 sq ft) that has prewired speakers in the ceiling. I am starting from Home Theater stretch I would say. My main tv is Sony KV-35S42. I'm not a big tech buff so I don't need the top of the line but something that produces good sound, with function with my tv and my ceiling speakers, and aslo work with a plasma tv when I choose to spurge for one. I want to spend about $500. Please help!

welcome lbl627,
there is a vast collection of knowledge on this board and I'm sure there are a tonne of people that can help you in your decision. First it would be helpful to get a little more information from you - size of the listening room, usual listening (volume) levels, typical musical taste, etc.
Another suggestion would be to phone the people at Axiom if you haven't already. They are fantastic people and will do all they can to steer you in the right direction.
Good luck

I'm not certain what you're looking for... speakers? receiver? DVD player? If you don't have a receiver and need (front) speakers, you're going to have a bit of a hard time getting in under $500.

I'm guessing you need the whole package -- dvd player, amp, speakers aka "Home Theater in a Box" ?
