Hi there-
I am a new owner of a pair of M40, a VP150 and 2 pairs of QS4's (for my 7.1 setup). I was just wondering if it is better to place the QS4's on a stand (QSS4) at ear level rather than hang them up on the walls. I have no experience with QS4 since I recently upgraded from satellites where all 5 speakers are identical. Thanks in advance.

Hi Fluxtor

I would set two surrounds 7 feet up on the side walls at the listening position, and the other two surrounds either 7 feet up on the side walls further back, or 7 feet up on the rear wall, with about 4-8 feet distance between them. This will give you a very encompassing and seamless soundfield.

Good luck, and enjoy your new Axioms!
