As usual, Ken has articulated the proper response. That is some serious speakerage. Nice looking set up that doesn't appear to lack for audio capabiity. Any reason you didn't hang 2 more M80s on the back wall?

What is the rest of the equipment above the center and in the cabinet? Looks like you might be a Denon guy.

Ooops - just noticed the equipment listing under the pictures. How do you like the 2900? I've had one for a couple of months now and it produces stunning PQ. Also - what are you usning for a remote? Quite a bit of discussion lately surrounding the Home Theater Master MX-700, which is fabulous for use with the 3803.

I have to ask a question that's NOT speaker-related:

I see you have an XM receiver hooked up to the system. How does the sound REALLY compare to CDs? Listening through car speakers in Best Buy I'm sure does not do the service justice, but I really think I'd only be interested if it (or Sirius) is really CD quality or extremely close....especially now that the resolution of the Axioms will show an inferior source!

(Oooh! I DID make it about speakers!)

I really don't have any extra space on the back wall to hang a extra set of M80ti! I think I have enough for the rear area. I love my Denon 3803 I have had it for about 2 years also the Denon 2900 is one heck of a DVD/DVD-A/SACD player. As far as a remote goes it's next on my list. Oh by the way I have a set of M3ti for my Tube Amp in my computer room and I love them too! my last set of speakers I ordered just before the price increase was the M22ti so when I get them I will be pretty Axiomed out if that is possible.

The Xm Radio sound fantastic when listining to music like Smooth Jazz, But when listning to music like the oldies it has a lot to be desired. I dosen't compare to the Denon 2900 DVD/ DVD-A/ Sacd player in my opinion.. JUST MY OPINION. I have a second XM Radio I use with my Cayin TA-30 Tube Amp with a set on Axiom M3ti and they sound really nice with the tubes.

HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is one hell of a system.
So how many Axiom speakers total do you have now?
Also I've noticed in your and some other peoples photos, a wood plate under the sub. Is this a necessary thing to do? Could I benefit by doing this?

I have (4) M80ti (4) QS8 (1) VP150 (2) M3ti and (2) M22ti on the way. The Sub is a SVS PB2+ IT has (2) 12 Woofers and a 900 Watt Bash Amp for power. The plate it oringial to the Sub it is a down firing system.

bray, all of the SVS subs have the bottom panel integrated into the sub. It was one of the things I found appealing. Nice finished look and it is a downfiring sub, so there is some sonic benefit involved. makes for a nice firm bas for the cylinder subs too.

Well Lee, we have at least 3 things in common. Age, QS8s, and the very same clock.

The owner of the health club, where I used to work out, had a large white bird that I think was a Cockatoo (don't hold me to that, but that's what I think it was). I never could understand why people would want a bird for a pet. Well that bird (named Snow) taught me a lesson.

I got in the habit of taking her out of her cage, and I'd slide my fingers up under her feathers and stroke her head, her neck, her back, her wings. And that silly bird acted just like a dog. She'd nuzzle me, and snuggle up to me, and if I went somewhere off the spot she wanted scratched she reach out her claw and guide my hand to the right spot, or duck her head under my hand to get it properly positioned. (I've found this same technique works, with similar results, on some women too )

She was a sweet, affectionate creature, and I fell in love with her. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Is Dandy anything like this?
