I looked at the Outlaw 950 Pre/Pro but it is getting kind of outdated now and is not firmware upgradeable.

expatbrit - good suggestion made by you - Looks like I would end my using my dayy off reseraching recievers.
snakeyes - I was actually all set on getting the Outlaw 950/7100 as I thought this was the best deal but read in one of the posts that the 950 is pretty obsolete, looks like I need to look at that option more carefully.

There is a Outlaw pre/pro on ebay right now that you may want to look at. Also, take a look at Audiogon.com. I have picked up a few items there that are great savings and items.
