Bret, glad to hear how you're enjoying the EP500. As far as SACD recommendations, sure, but keep in mind that CD standards of 16 bits, 44.1KHz sampling are ample for human ears and the dynamic requirements of the material to be reproduced. The quality of the original recording process plus the mixing and mastering applied to it determine the quality of sound on the disc, not whether it winds up on CD/DVD-A/SACD(the multichannel possibility aside). Tower has a 25% off sale through Monday(free shipping when over $20)and an excellent set of hybrid SACDs I got a few months ago is this gorgeous Swan Lake music, selling at a bargain price.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.

Thank you Joe and JohnK,
I think Fleetwood Mac and Swan Lake would both expand my collection nicely
A little followup to the review... Yesterday I moved the ep500 behind some furniture (for WAF reasons), and I had to turn the volume down even more now, as its right in a corner. Relistening to some of the I-Robot, I believe I was getting some non audible bass now (feeling it without hearing it). I gotta get Blackhawk Down to test it soon.
