Who's been watching?
The Fed, though winning in straight sets doesn't look as sharp has he has in the past. He'll need to kick it up a few notches to get past Agassi tonight. Though his game has several notches left, so it shouldn't be a problem.
My man Safin is still in there...as is Andy Roddick, David Nalbandian, Dominik Hrbaty, Leyton Hewitt, and Nikolay Davydenko.
So, who're your picks?
Here's mine...
Quarters
Federer over Agassi in four sets.
Marat over Hrbaty in straights.
Nalbandian over Hewitt in five.
Roddick over Davydenko in straights.
Semis
Federer over Safin in four.
Roddick over Nalbandian in five.
Finals
Federer beats Roddick in straight sets.

I have only been watching a little.
I like your predictions, but I will take Hewitt over Nalbandian.
Then Hewitt over Roddick in five.
Federer in straight sets.

I didn't know he was known as "The Fed". lol. Even though Agassi is slowing up I still would like to see him pull this off. He has always been a favorite of mine. If not Agassi, I root for Federer all the way.

Yeah...I have TiVo.....I will set it up to record tonight.
On a different note...I called my cable company today...they now have a HD DVR with two tuners! I may be dumping DirecTiVo and going that route if I get that new TV.

Not the Federer prediction. I guess you are happy about that one though since Safin won. I didn't see it, but I hear it was a great match.

I watched some of it today......those guys were hitting the cr*p out of the ball. I think I have seen better technical matches....but not one like this where I really felt sorry for the ball.

Tivo and live sporting events are not a good mix.
I was watching the match tonight... 6-6 in the fourth set tie-break. BOING. Delete this recording?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you do a search I called Safin to do very well in the Aussie Open last year and everyone thought I was nuts. When he's not downing beers (or his pants) and chasing the ladies he's one of the very best players in the world...if not the best. He's just a head case though. Let's hope Peter Lungren can keep him in the place he's at now.

I got the Hewitt over Roddick right...but he did it in four not five.
prediction: Hewitt over Safin.....Safin cracks because of all the Aussie support for Hewitt.
Serena over Lindsey in straight sets.

OK...so my predictions have started to fall off sharply.
The men's final should be terrific. Safin's been to the final twice and come up short, he really wants it. On the other hand, Hewitt will have an entire stadium full of fans cheering him on. Should be a great match.
I love Lindsay, but I think Serena is going to crush her.

also for davenport to look hot she would have to bring gasoline and a match.
