just wondering if anyone could answer me as to when or if more copies of the EE 3-pack? Everywhere I've looked has the individual movies available, but the 3 movie set is sold out. Anyone know?

Amazon.com has it for $78 with free shipping. Didn't check Froogle or Pricegrabber.
Of course, I am guessing that you want a local store, but not sure I can help you there.

good call Nick, I hadn't really thought to check Amazon. I had really only checked Best Buy, Future Shop, A&B Sound (all instore and online) and Walmart. Hadn't had any luck at any of those places so i assumed they must have stopped producing or it was a pre-xmas thing.
thx

If it works out cheaper, you could buy them all separately and go to www.lotrdvdbox.com

I got all excited about this until I saw the dreaded words "Offer good only in the U.S."

If you buy them individually say from Future Shop, the ROTK box has a coupon in it that you can mail off to Guelph , Ontario for a box.
Also the three-pack is identical to the 3 individuals, minus that little box, and prrobably some more plastic wrap.

Thanks Daphoid, I just checked in my ROTK box and there's the coupon. Consider it mailed.
...well yes; I do open Christmas presents as fast as possible and sometimes things get overlooked

well it would appear I just wasn't looking hard enough before. Just by fluke I was in a mall that I normally never go to and had a gander in CDPlus (normally way overpriced). Sure enough they had it and at $109 CDN I snapped it up quickly. I think there is a LOTR marathon in my near future! Thanks for the help, errr encouragement guys!

LOTR Marathon... Good luck.
I have a small handful of guys at work that are just dying for me to finish my HT so that we can have a LOTR marathon. Biggest problem is when do you start? It takes like 11 hours to run through them non-stop, and you need bathroom breaks, plus time to get off your arse every now and then. If you start at 10AM, you eat lunch around 1:30, get back to it around 2PM (fast eating) then eat supper (or dinner depending on your part of the world and what you call it) around 5:45PM. Fire it back up around 6:30PM and you are done around 10:45PM.
I've looked at adjusting the start time, but the big problem is some people (here anyway) woulnd't get up that early, and others don't want to stay up that late (some have about an hour drive to/from my house).
I am sure that I will still do it when I get things finished, but it will be just as painful as it is enjoyable I think.
