For those with a Sound and Vision dvd and a VP150se, when you use the "speaker balance" feature, do you hear the test tones being outputted from the tweeters of your 150?? I ask because my 150se doesn't have any sound at all being outputted by the tweeters..wondering if this is normal? I suspect it isn't, but I'd like to make sure. The crossover on my unit is probably defective and would explain why my 150 sounds like it's producing too much midrange and not enough treble.

Pink noise is defined as heard equally from all drivers. Sounds like your tweeters aren't working.

Thanks for the response. I jumped the gun, the 150's tweeters aren't supposed to be outputting the test tones, because my M22's tweeters, upon closer inspection, aren't outputting the noise either. My receiver's built in test tone works fine for all my speakers...

I wonder what kind of tone you were listening to then...
