Hello friends
If someone has a ruler and an M22 and/or M60 handy, I'd be much obliged if you could tell me how deep the port and although it's diffifult because of the crenelations of the pongid port - the approximate width of the port on these speakers.
Thanks in advance!!!

Thank you Fordprefect. Is that for the M22? Also, is the ~2" from the inside of the pucker or the outside?

2x6, on the M22 I get about 2 1/16", outside pucker to outside pucker(i.e. widest point of pucker). Unlike bigjohn, I refuse to reach inside the port to measure the depth.

Come on! Just put on a latex glove and ... you know, measure it.
Thx!
BTW, anyone have an M60 and a ruler?

Yes Master; throw the switch!!
The scene:...The lab, Tubes glowing in various locations throughout the stone walled room.(but hopefully no wild arcing or sparks flying!)
2x6 in lab coat with trusty Senior Voltohmist at side; probing the port with measuring device...uh,...no...(cut that)...Make that a soldering operation instead!
The speaker is sewn...uh,...assembled, and raised majestically to it's test position where a positively huge power amp with Klystrons for finals is at the ready!
Throw the switch, Master; release the shutter!
Yes!! Music...Gooooooood!

Sorry I'm late replying, still getting over the f'n fiasco that was yesterday's F1 race
The measurement was inside the pucker on an M60.

In reply to:
yesterday's F1 race
yea, i read about that this morning... what were those guys thinking..?
granted, i realize that Michelin informed the teams that they thought their tires were not safe for the speed and track conditions.. but, do they expect the entire race to be held up cause they brought the wrong tires.. and did the drivers not realize that american fans will NOT have any sympathy for their situation. i really think they shot themselves in the foot, if they ever intended of swaying any american fans towards their sport.
from what i know of the event, i think F1 racing in america has started the final slide in its downhill progression. and maybe i dont know all the subtle nuences to the whole situation.. but i do know that a lot of people, who paid a lot of money to be there, were completely let-down..
