Well here is the finished product, over $27,000 in renovations later (including furniture and M80s). There is obviously still a bit of tweaking to do because of my receiver problems i.e. straightening up TV and entertainment unit, carpeting ramp to elevator, lights, covering fuse panel, covering support beams (suggestions appreciated), hiding cords running to sub, replacing center channel to M44s(maybe dual M44s down the road) and surrounds to QS8's, new TV and receiver . I am also going to have a bar built that will extend out from the single back left door and across just passed the back center beam.

Just a last note. Because I use a wheelchair for mobility I had to buy commercial carpet in order for any company to warranty it. The carpet I put down is Mohawk Modular carpet tile. The picture doesn't really give it justice. The pattern is "raised". If you're looking for a wow effect in your home theater and can afford it, I would definitely look into it as they have tons of choices. I can post the link if anyone's interested as it is not carried in stores.

Thanks for everyone's input, it was greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure of the manufacturer. I purchased them at The Brick and the model is called Toreno. They are on The Bricks web site. You can either find them under their reclining sofa section, or type the model in the search engine. If you can't find anything out, let me know and I will get someone to check the furniture.

By the way. I didn't mean to come across as egoistic or tooting my own horn regarding the carpet. Just trying to help others out as I know we are always looking for suggestions.

Thanks,

As for covering up your tele-post's I have seen wooden pillars that come in two pices and can be painted or staind they look quite nice in a room where they cant be hidden in a wall.

A friend of mine recommended pillars but I didn't know that they come in wood, I've only seen them "plastic" looking. I will definitely be looking into that.

Thanks for the quid pro quo tip

I'd recognize those Paradigm Monitor 9s anywhere, though I pretty much always had my grill covers on. \:\) Nice room. I like the feel of the room.

So when's the first dance party? You know, the kind that will make use of the poles?

Even though I usually have the grills on as they are supposed to be. I find them more imposing with them off. I have a former employee (caregiver) that is still a great friend who could easily make use of those poles for us :-).

I saw them at rona or home depot can't remember which one as I am at both places 3 or 4 times a week lately cant seem to remember everything I need, sometimes it's 3 to 4 times a day.
luckily in regina it's only 10 min. to anywhere.

as for using them for dancing poles they work great ;\) maybe you should just leave them the way they are.
